Lebara promo codes and first-months discounts

Lebara's offers are usually a lower price for your first 3 months on a new plan. When we checked, these were live for new customers:

• 30GB plans (30-day or 12-month) for £2.49 a month for the first 3 months.
• 5GB plans (30-day or 12-month) for £1.49 a month for the first 3 months.

Lebara 12-month plans: 10% off

Lebara sells each plan as a 30-day rolling plan, which you can change or cancel any time, or as a 12-month plan with 10% off. If you're happy to commit for a year, the 12-month plan is the cheaper way to pay.

Lebara student discount

Lebara has a Student Offers page with SIM only plans for students, and says students can also find Lebara deals on Student Beans. Student plans come with the same no credit check, no contract terms, which Lebara points out helps students who don't yet have a strong credit history.

New customers who join and move their existing number also get 5GB extra data as a welcome bonus, valid for 30 days. Lebara says there are no annual price increases on its student deals for data, UK minutes and texts.

Lebara refer a friend: up to £50

When a friend joins with your referral link and buys any 30-day or 12-month plan, your friend gets 50% off their bill for the first 3 months and you get a cash reward. The reward depends on the plan your friend chooses, from £10 on the 5GB plan up to £50 on Unlimited Plus.

The reward doesn't arrive automatically: claim it in the Refer & Earn portal by bank transfer or PayPal. It's paid within 60 days if your friend keeps their plan, and doesn't count if they cancel within 60 days.

Lebara returns and refunds

You can return an unused Lebara pre-pay SIM card, still attached to its original holder, or other products within 14 days, at your own cost. If your pre-pay account is in credit, you can ask for a refund within 180 days of the SIM's last use. Lebara asks you to allow up to 30 days for refunds.
