How AliExpress promo codes work

AliExpress promo codes are almost always money off when you spend a set amount, in pounds. Two things decide whether a code works:

• The minimum spend. Your cart has to reach the amount in the offer, usually counted after any item discounts.
• The end date. Many AliExpress codes last only a day or two, often around sale events.

Enter the code at checkout and check the discount in your order summary before you pay. Our AliExpress page lists the UK codes that are live today.

Choice: free shipping and free returns

Look for the Choice label when you shop. AliExpress's UK homepage promises free shipping on all Choice items, fast delivery and free returns within 90 days. Items that aren't in Choice are shipped by individual sellers, with their own delivery times, costs and return terms, so check them on the item page.

Bundle for Less and SuperDeals

Two sections of AliExpress are worth checking before you use a code:

• Bundle for Less: lower prices when you buy several items from the bundle together. When we checked, Today's deals included 3 items from £0.90.
• SuperDeals: daily deals on popular items at reduced prices.

Bundle savings can help your cart reach a promo code's minimum spend, so you get both discounts.

Is there an AliExpress student discount?

We couldn't find a student discount on AliExpress's UK website when we checked on 11 October 2026. The regular ways to save are promo codes, Choice free shipping, Bundle for Less and SuperDeals. AliExpress's privacy policy also mentions member benefits such as VIP offers and coupons, birthday rewards and exclusive member prices, depending on the membership or events you join.

Customs and tax on AliExpress orders

Many AliExpress items ship from outside the UK. The UK homepage advertises tax exemptions on some items, and AliExpress has a Bundle Deals section marked as duty covered. Check the final price at checkout, which shows what you'll pay, before you place your order.

AliExpress vs Alibaba

They're from the same group but do different jobs. AliExpress sells to shoppers, one item at a time or a few at once. Alibaba.com is a business-to-business marketplace for buying in bulk from manufacturers and suppliers. If you're buying for yourself, AliExpress is the one you want. See our Alibaba.com guide for buying in bulk.

Tips to pay less on AliExpress

1. Fill your cart to the minimum spend with things you'd buy anyway, then add the code.
2. Pick Choice items for free shipping and free returns within 90 days.
3. Use Bundle for Less to bring the price per item down.
4. Check the code's end date: many expire within a day or two.
5. Read the seller's terms on items that aren't Choice, especially for delivery time and returns.
