Privacy Notice
Last updated: 21 October 2026
This notice explains what personal information HuntMeCoupons UK (uk.huntmecoupons.com) collects, why we collect it, who we share it with and what your rights are. We have kept it as short and plain as we can.
1. Who we are and how to contact us
HuntMeCoupons UK is operated by Zillion Services LLC, 1500 Champlain Crest Way, Cary, NC 27513, United States. We are responsible for the personal information described in this notice.
For any question about your personal information, or to use any of your rights, email contact@huntmecoupons.com.
2. What information do we collect?
You can use HuntMeCoupons without creating an account and without telling us who you are. We only collect the following:
- Newsletter sign-ups. If you subscribe, we collect your email address and a record that you agreed to receive our emails, including when you agreed.
- Store alerts. If you ask for a store's offers by email, we collect your email address, which stores you follow, and when you confirmed by clicking the link in our confirmation email.
- Messages you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.
- Technical information. Like every website, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical details when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you request and the time of your visit.
- Clicks to stores. When you click an offer to go to a store, the link tells the store, and the affiliate network that manages its programme, that the visit came from our site and which offer you used. We do not pass your name or email address to them.
- Analytics. If you accept analytics cookies: which pages you visit, how you found us (for example from a search engine or one of our emails), which offers you click or copy, what you search for on our site, your type of device and browser, and your approximate location (town or region). This is linked to a random ID in a cookie, not to your name or email address, and our analytics provider does not store your IP address. If you don't accept, nothing is stored on your device: a short signal without cookies or any ID tells our analytics provider the page, the time, your type of device and browser and your approximate area, and is only used to count visits.
We do not take payments, and we never ask for your bank or card details.
3. Why do we use it, and on what legal basis?
- To send our newsletter, based on your consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time by clicking "unsubscribe" in any email or by contacting us.
- To send the store alerts you asked for, emails about new offers from the stores you follow, based on your consent. Following a store doesn't sign you up to our general newsletter. Every alert has an unsubscribe link.
- To answer your messages, based on our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us.
- To run and protect the website, for example to keep it secure, fix faults and stop misuse, based on our legitimate interest in providing a safe, working site.
- To make sure stores credit us for the visits we send them, which is how we keep the site free, based on our legitimate interest.
- To understand how the site is used, such as which pages and offers are popular and which stores people look for, based on your consent to analytics cookies. You can withdraw it at any time with Cookie Settings at the bottom of every page. Counting visits from the signals without cookies, when you haven't accepted, is based on our legitimate interest in knowing how many people use the site.
- To meet legal obligations, where the law requires us to keep or share information.
We do not use your information to make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
4. Who do we share it with?
We only share personal information with organisations that help us run the site, and only as much as they need:
- our email service provider, which stores newsletter subscriptions and sends our emails;
- our hosting provider, which delivers the website to your browser and keeps the technical records described above;
- our web font provider, which receives your IP address when your browser loads the fonts used on our pages;
- our analytics provider, which measures how the site is used (fully if you accept analytics cookies, otherwise from signals without cookies only);
- stores and affiliate networks, when you click through to a store, as described in section 2;
- professional advisers, or authorities such as the police or courts, where the law requires it.
We never sell your personal information.
5. Is your information sent outside the UK?
We are based in the United States, and some of the providers we use process information outside the UK, mainly in the United States. When that happens we rely on safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum, or the UK–US data bridge where the provider is certified under it.
6. How long do we keep it?
- Newsletter and store alerts: until you unsubscribe. After that we keep a short record that you unsubscribed, so we do not email you again by mistake.
- Messages: for as long as we need to deal with your message, and for up to 24 months afterwards in case you contact us again about the same matter.
- Technical records: for the short period our hosting provider keeps them for security and fault-finding.
- Analytics: information linked to the random ID is kept for up to 14 months and then deleted automatically; after that only overall totals remain, such as the number of visits in a month.
7. What are your rights?
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your information;
- ask us to limit how we use your information;
- object to us using your information on the basis of legitimate interests;
- ask for your information in a format you can take elsewhere;
- withdraw your consent to our newsletter or to analytics cookies at any time.
To use any of these rights, email contact@huntmecoupons.com. We will reply within one month. Using your rights is free.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first, so please contact us before you do.
8. Cookies
Our Cookie Notice explains which cookies are used when you visit our site and when you click through to a store, and how to accept or reject analytics cookies.
9. Children
Our site is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you think a child has signed up to our newsletter, please contact us and we will remove them.
10. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. If we make an important change, we will make it clear on this page.
