Best Heat Press UK 2026: HTVRONT Auto, Multi, Tumbler and Hat Presses Compared

By the HuntMeCoupons team · Updated 14 October 2026 · 4 min read

A heat press fixes heat transfer vinyl (HTV), sublimation prints and DTF transfers onto T-shirts, bags, mugs, tumblers and caps. The right one depends on what you'll press most: flat items like clothes, round items like mugs and tumblers, or curved items like caps. This guide compares HTVRONT's automatic presses using the details HTVRONT gives on its UK website. Prices are checked every night on htvront.co.uk.

Which type of heat press do you need?

  • Flat press (like the Auto Heat Press 2): for T-shirts, hoodies, tote bags, cushion covers and anything that lies flat. Most people start here.
  • Multi press (like the A100): one base with swappable plates, so the same machine presses flat items, tumblers and caps.
  • Tumbler press (like the A200): for sublimating tumblers and, with an extra plate kit, mugs.
  • Hat press (like the A300): a curved plate that fits the front of a cap.

All four are HTVRONT's automatic ("Auto") presses, so you don't have to pull a lever down with your own weight. On the Auto Heat Press 2, for example, you set the temperature, time and pressure, and it presses and releases by itself.

Best for clothes and bags: HTVRONT Auto Heat Press 2

HTVRONT calls the Auto Heat Press 2 (Digit) its top-tier press for home and business use. It presses and releases automatically, has a slide-out tray for loading, lets you set pressure from 20 to 80kg for different materials, and takes items up to 4.5cm high. For safety it shuts down after 15 minutes and releases automatically. HTVRONT sells it in bundles: with heat press accessories (Essential and Premium Bundles) or together with its tumbler press (Machine Bundle).

Good for: T-shirts and bags, and anyone starting out who wants consistent results.

Best all-in-one: HTVRONT A100 Auto Multi Heat Press

The A100 has a 12 x 10 in heat plate for A4-size and larger projects and takes items up to 13cm high, so thicker and bulkier things fit. On its A100 page HTVRONT lists a 12 x 10 in heat plate, a 20oz tumbler heat plate and a large hat heat plate with a hat stretcher base, so one machine covers clothes, tumblers and caps. The Beginner Kit adds materials to get started.

Good for: a small craft business, or anyone who wants to press more than one kind of item without buying several machines.

Best for tumblers: HTVRONT A200 Auto Tumbler Heat Press

The A200 is HTVRONT's automatic tumbler press, sold here as a Beginner Kit. HTVRONT also sells a Handle Mug Tumbler Heat Plate Kit for the A200, A200H and A200M, which adds handle mugs and straight tumblers.

Best for caps: HTVRONT A300 Auto Hat Heat Press

A curved press for caps: HTVRONT gives a temperature range of 40 to 210°C, over 176lb (80kg) of pressure, and two platens, small (7 x 17cm) and large (8 x 15cm, fitted as standard). It weighs 4.2kg. The Premium Kit adds accessories.

Extras worth having

A heat press mat protects the surface under your press (HTVRONT's 12 x 10 in mat fits the A100 and H10), and heat transfer vinyl is what you cut and press onto fabric.

How we checked this guide

Every product fact in this guide comes from the brand's own product description, checked on 14 October 2026, and HTVRONT's UK product pages (plate sizes, pressure, temperature, auto features and kit contents). Prices are read on each store's own product page every night; the store's checkout shows the final price. We haven't tested these products ourselves, so we don't rate them: we compare what each brand says it does.
